Massage

Touch is powerful, and a gift to share with others. I commit to wielding this power in a way that centers the experience of my clients, with the intention to create space for release, relief from pain, and relaxation. Communication and consent are integral to my process.

I utilize various manual therapies from the traditions of Swedish and Thai massage, as well as Shiatsu and trigger point therapy. My work is rooted in the knowledge that every part of the body is interconnected with every other part; I tailor every session to directly address specific tension, while simultaneously considering the body as a whole.

Book massage in 60, 90 or 120 minute sessions, or pair with craniosacral therapy or yoga practice to enhance your experience.

  • Eases muscular tension and strengthens the abdominal muscles

  • Encourages relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety

  • Boosts the immune system

  • Improves posture

Mayan abdominal massage is not recommended for people while they are pregnant or on their period.

I offer Mayan abdominal massage as a 1 hour treatment or as a 30 minute add-on to any massage you might book!

Craniosacral therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle touch-based practice that deals directly with releasing the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system (CNS): namely, the head and the spine. Through gentle holds along the CNS, we can help to release tension and normalize the environment of the brain and spinal cord.

This therapy can be useful in addressing a number of concerns, ranging from headaches and neck/spine pain to anxiety and insomnia. Clients often report a feeling of a well-being and wholeness, and often leave the treatment feeling deeply rested and relaxed.

I offer Craniosacral therapy as a standalone 60 minute treatment or paired with full-body massage in a 90 or 120 minute session.

Yoga + Bodywork

Begin your session on the mat, with a series of postures and breathing to center and ground you before your massage. This beginning in movement can give us new information to inform your bodywork session.

Curious about postures in your yoga practice? In a one-on-one session, we can consider your alignment in a personal way. Receive hands on adjustments to create more length and space in your body, as we integrate techniques from Thai massage and yoga asana.

Practioners at all places on the spectrum of experience are welcome! I offer yoga + bodywork in 90 minute sessions (30 minutes yoga + 60 minutes massage) or 120 minute sessions (45 minutes yoga + 75 minutes massage).
